Continental chocolates come in all different shapes and sizes, and you can also get seasonal varieties too. They offer luxury and delicious, mouth watering flavours, which will really tease your taste buds.
Seasonal Continental Chocolates
Seasonal continental chocolates are developed obviously throughout the seasons. They each match the current season’s theme, and summer continental chocolates are absolutely delicious! An example of summer seasonal continental chocolates includes ‘Pink champagne’ which is a light, bubbly mousse which is covered in pink champagne and surrounded by a crisp, white chocolate shell which really doe melt in the mouth! Some more summer seasonal chocolates could include:
• Raspberry Smoothies
These chocolates come complete in a rich, dark chocolate shell, with a luxurious smooth truffle in the centre. The flavour of ripe, juicy raspberries mixed within the truffle centre just waiting to flow onto the tongue.
• Lemon Mousse
This chocolate is a zesty one which really refreshes the tongue. Lemon oil combined with double cream creates a delicious, tangy flavour, combined with smooth white chocolate and lemon pieces.
• Vanilla Truffle
The vanilla truffle is a mixture of vanilla flavouring and a smooth, butter truffle centre. Coated with smooth milk chocolate and a dash of white chocolate to decorate, this truly is a melt in the mouth chocolate!
So, as you can see, summer continental chocolates tend to be a little on the fruity side. So what about other continental chocolates? Well, there are also ones especially designed for those winter months and they include ones with a little more ‘kick’ to them. Chocolate liquors tend to go down quite well once the temperatures start to drop as they really do warm the body up!
During Easter, continental chocolates cash in by creating bunny shaped chocolates, and they tend to come in a variety of different shapes, sizes and flavours. Some are plain milk, white or dark chocolate, whilst others contain various different fillings.
Ordinary Continental Chocolates
As well as seasonal continental chocolates, there are also continental chocolates which can be enjoyed at any time of the year. These include continental almonds. Continental almonds are encased in a rich, milk chocolate coating, and although they are mainly given at Easter or during the Christmas month, they can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
Generally continental chocolates are best enjoyed throughout the various different seasons and they can add a little luxury to your life! They are great given as a gift and they truly are mouth watering!
